An Introduction to Wales in Conwy

Conwy was the first stop on our trip through North Wales this April and we really couldn’t have started our journey in a better place: Conwy’s spectacular geographical location close to both the mountains and the sea would have been enough to entice me, but combined with the quaint historical center that was over 800 years old and the ancient castle that majestically overlooked the town, it really encompassed everything I love about Great Britain in one perfect little package.

5 Happy Moments Of The Past Week

After spending good portion of the previous week sick in bed, it feels great to be back to my normal self again – everything just seems to be better and brighter when you don’t feel like laying down and sleeping all the time! I’m still sneezing and today I woke up sounding like a grow, but I finally feel like I can use my brain again and for that I am definitely very thankful.

A Trip to North Wales: Our Ten Day Itinerary

If you have been reading my blog for a long time, you know that the UK is one of my favorite places on earth. From London with its world-class museums and hip restaurants to towns like Oxford, York or Edinburgh that are brimming with beautiful architecture to the breath-taking views of the Highlands and the wild coasts of Cornwall, the UK sure isn’t shy of memorable experiences and I could probably happily spent all of my vacation days there for the rest of my life.

One of the things I love the most about the UK is just how gorgeous and picturesque the landscape is. For me, heaven isn’t a tropical island or a white-washed beach – it’s the British countryside. With rolling hills and quaint villages being just as much a part of the landscape as jagged coastlines and rugged mountains, I really couldn't imagine a place more enchanting and I am already longing to go back just putting together this post.
